yes we have FREE music
..so finaly we have music ..very important on a record label site ,id say ..also its free ,very important on a site with its roots in the opposition ...we are hoping to add 4 or 5 new songs /tracks each month.....if i can get it together to listen to the boxes of cass, and tapes and cds in my loft ....and thanks for the feedback re the storyville song...storville was a "live" project involving me and lol ford(so guitarist and also later oppos guitar)..we decided to write some songs and go out and play some gigs in london..which is what we did ...as well as a live TV clip..(maybe on the oppos/so DVD....december??? maybe )..it was a very simple set up voice and 2 guitars! ..and we also did some recording which included a "band" david beckett and josephine on drums perc etc and marcus bell on bass,,we recorded 5 or 6 songs at our old studio in the elephant and castle ,the workshop, in a day and mixed !!!! ..these 5 songs plus a couple of duo songs will be the storyville mini album ,available we hope on right back records ..oct/nov...we are sending boxes of north peckham skyline and the oppos live album to rients at red sun records next week , so all those people who have pre ordered the cd (thank you ) should receive them soon ..sorry about the delay ....bye

That Stoyville track is AWESUM, it reminds me a bit of the moodswings of the Blue Nile albums. Very nice! I also like the Oppos live track very much, these 2 tracks have been playing on heavy ‘rotation’ these last few days

My boyfriend was listening to some “Americana” this afternoon and wondered why Brits cant write lyric orientated songs with the same intensity as the Americans. Well I think they can – specially Mark Long… keep them coming. I LOVE them

Do you confirm the “In the Heart” was recorded live in Vannes, th elast concert of the “Rock en France” tour ? (it sound very similar).

I would be very interested in the motivations leading to reject such tracks from an album.
Janey is obviously a different mood than the rest of Blinder but judging by the difference from demo to album with Mr&Mrs Jones it may have changed a lot yet … Same for Bed of Roses that sounds like an excellent track.
I’d love if you could detail your opinion on these tracks further.
