ive had a cold
..so ive been unwell this week..man flu..i think its called ..........but im feeling better thanks.FINALLY,finally oppos live album ,new york paris peckham is ready to pick up..(couldnt face the drive to wembley today ...).ralph and derek will collect them on monday and then i will take them to the office(yes we have an office ...).i hope there ok,we had lots of problems with the sound....its a bit of a battle with live stuff..between the sound,the feel,the moment ..your own ego(ie wrong notes,sometimes even wrong verses!)...........come to think of it ive always had this "struggle" with any recorded stuff ........i always wanted the moment and i wasnt so concerned about which order the notes went in.................there was a "moment "during"black and white" at the reading festival when i looked beyond the audience(at those big open air festivals the crowd just goes on and on and on and then beyond theres these tent villages...and i was just kind of drifting mid song )...and then i suddenly woke up ..and had no idea what verse came next ..infact for a moment i couldnt remember what song ..........our road crew would stick lyric sheets and set lists all over the stage ,just for those "drifting" moments .........and i didnt even drink before a gig!...........thanks for all your emails etc ...ok a question that keeps coming up ..will the oppos ever play live again ....well...im meeting marcus in france at the beginning of august(i hope! )..last year we did talk about the idea of playing live in the studio ( in paris), in front of a small audience which would be filmed for french tv(and maybe added to oppos DVD)...but the idea has kind of drifted a bit ..................bye

Great site, very accessible and the first viewing of a Rums shirt on a website i believe. Couldn’t work out who was being carried off though. Nice work.
