11 06 04 + 6 - 6 Artwork delivered, football beckons!!
Ahh the smugness ...
tickets for 6 great games, place by the beach, beer, not being here -
its holiday time! We went over to Wembley to deliver the artwork for
NYPP and hand over large wadges of cash to pay for it (I hope enough
people want to buy it or this could be a very short-lived record
company!). The master should go over early next week and then, maybe
even before I get back, we should have a couple of albums to
distribute. We're aiming for July to allow for cock-ups, of which I'm
sure there will be a few! Its been a while since I prepared some
artwork for print and I remember how many mistakes I made when I was
first doing it.
I can't wait to see how the albums turn out. I've just got a dump of an
old video tape of the Opposition live in New York (we're working on a
DVD, or will be when we've got the other stuff up and running!) and
although the sound quality is ropey, its a real buzz to see a live set
again.
When I get back I'll finish setting up the Opposition Live wiki. We
thought it would be fun to see if we can come up with the definitive
history of the Opposition on the road but frankly, our memories are too
scattergun to write one properly so a wiki will enable everyone to add
their memories and correct any deficiency in ours. It could be fun if
everyone pitches in!
So, an early plane, a large amount of travelling and 2 tickets to England v France. Bring it on!
