just loved the last three gigs - best of all has to be the trafalgar studios - silent listening - strings and band - but at all three a chance to sing the new songs to a silent crowd - so thanks to ally at the ex and bernard at acoustic routes and adam at trafalgar - ill b back in the new year. i gave derek and mark a copy of remedy and tall ships to maybe put up on the juke box for christmas but knowing them its more likely to b next christmas than this one! failin that i played remedy on loose ends - radio four live - itll go out on new years eve. im goin away to get some sun and scuba divin done. when i come back i need to really decide what to do next - id love to make another album if theres the interest and play some more dates.like to take it all a bit more seriously . its been a thrilling ride doin guys and dolls this year - god i miss it and thankyu to everyone whos bothered to read or write in. have a fabulous christmas and happy new year.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
so were all geared up to play trafalgar studios. - the old whitehall theatre.its a 100 seater theatre just on trafalgar square - starts at 11pm - ten pound to get in im afraid - but please come... im playing all my own stuff - 4 new songs and songs from the album with the band - and some with strings!!! if u reAD THIS BLOG - HOPE TO SEE U THERE - AND IN THE BAR FOR A DRINK AFTER.
+ 1 - 0 | § ¶NO BORDERLINESo farewell then guys and dolls - theres a great big gap where that used to be. im directin a farce durin the days... which i suspect will yield some farcical bloggages. most importantly - the borderline gig tonight is off. they wanted to change venue to the Scope or something -in leicester square which just didnt sound worth playin - so i hope everyone has seen this or the message on the front page of the web site. now theres three gigs only - OXFORD - FRIDAY NIGHT, LONDON - TRAFALGAR STUDIOS ON TUESDAY - 13TH AND ACOUSTIC ROUTES IN CAMBRDIGE THE SATURDAY AFTER.
ooks like i got a string section playin with me on the tues night - some friends from the guys and dolls orchestra....so that could be fab - please book through the studios box office as its all seater..
