Right Back Records are Mark, Ralph and Derek, who brings the collective skills and people of Blunt Arts with him. Mark and Ralph were two thirds of The Opposition and Derek was one of their many fans who spent his youth following them around.
Keeping in touch through a mutual love of Fulham FC, Mark and Derek often wondered what happened to Ralph. Then, as if by magic, there he was again! Of course, being a Chelsea fan, he wasn't THAT welcome. Anyway, with the re-release of Breaking the Silence prompting many memories of some momentous times, it was clear that the world was suffering from a distinct lack of live opposition. A hunt for listenable bootlegs ensued and contacts made to improve them further.
So, here we are, an album of live performance and no way to release it. Ta Da - Right Back Records! Property magnate Ralph and jobbing muso Mark would supply the seed money, Derek would do the design and set up the website. Since then, ideas a plenty for future projects and dreams of million-selling albums, good music and lives of excess. The future of music? Who knows, but its going to be fun finding out.
